    This publication, developed by Ontario’s Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, helps municipalities identify a range of potential financing tools available to support planning and development activities.  It presents a number of municipal financial and planning incentives that encourage redevelopment, revitalization and improvement of existing neighbourhoods of a municipality.   • Alberta Rural Physician Action Plan
    RPAP (Alberta Rural Physician Action Plan) is an independent not-for-profit company funded by Alberta Health & Wellness, established to provide a provincially-focused comprehensive, integrated and sustained program for the education, recruitment and retention of physicians for rural practice.  Their website provides some of their publications and other useful information.   • Strategic Planning for Community and Economic Development
    This website provides an online tool that builds a simple but useful overall strategic plan.  It could be used as a starting point for more in depth planning.  Note: You need to supply an e-mail address to access the tool. [Download PDF]
  • Sustainable Urban Landscapes Typology
