This is a 40-hour per week seasonal position that involves a considerable amount of physical activity and working out of doors in all weather conditions.

Examples of work include:

• park maintenance including lawn mowing, weed whacking, pulling weeds in flower beds, litter collection, etc.
• cemetery clean up including lawn mowing, weed whacking and general clean up
• some tree and shrub trimming
• pot hole patching
• assist other departments as assigned by supervisor

The successful candidates must:

• possess a valid Alberta Driver's License and supply a driver's abstract
• be able to work independently and in small groups
• be familiar in the use and operation of small tools and equipment in a safe and proper manner
