Are you thinking about a career working with computers? Are you willing to participate in projects as required to support the County’s computers and networks? Reporting to the Systems Manager, the successful applicant will:

  • Respond to help desk calls, respond to individual requests for assistance, diagnose problems and coach users in the use of applications;
    troubleshoot computer hardware and software, including printers and networking issues;
    carry out the installation of hardware, software and Windows software updates.

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • completion of a minimum one year of college in technical field such as Information Systems;
    training in Microsoft Office 2010, Win XP and Win 7;
    strong communication and people skills;
    team player attitude;
    problem-solving capabilities;
    accurate data entry skills;
    ability to work under external deadlines;
    A+ and MCP designation considered an asset.
