The Citizen Engagement Toolkit has been developed by the AAMDC and the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association to assist municipalities in engaging their citizens in decision-making. This software-based tool uses guided questions to direct the user to appropriate engagement tools and captures the results in an engagement plan.

Instructions for CET Installation

• Click on the link above to download 

•  Unarchive the ZIP file and click on the executable file

• The installer window will open. Install CET to the default location of "C:"

• After CET has installed, enter your Municipality Name in the window provided.

• CET will finish installing. You may begin using it immediately.

• Note: CET installs a desktop icon for future use of the application. If you delete it, you can run C:cetcitizen_engagement_toolkit.exe and the application will open. It will create a new desktop icon as well.
